The Folk Art Festival of New England Returns to Marlborough, MA: Celebrating Fine Craftsmen and Local Charities
Marlborough, MA.- The Folk Art Festival of New England, a gathering of America’s finest artisans and craftsmen, returns to The Royal Plaza Trade Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts on October 30th thru November 1st. Featuring unique decorating, collectable and gift items visitors will enjoy the wares from some of America’s most talented and decorated artisans including handcrafted furniture, quilts, artwork, jewelry as well as handmade soaps, candles and more.
“The Folk Art Festival of New England has some very exciting events and artists in store this year including a book signing by Ann Eckert Brown, author of: American Painted Floors before 1840 and American Wall Stenciling 1790–1840, says Joel Hertz, Folk Art Festival of New England's owner and organizer.
“We are also extremely honored that Early American Life, the industry source on early American style, decorating, and traditions, will join us this year with their popular “Side by Side” exhibit, demonstrating old and new craftsmanship,” adds Hertz.
For the second year, The Folk Art Festival of New England will give back to the community by hosting a special raffle one of a kind pieces donated by the exhibitors to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Framingham and The Autism Resource Center of Central Massachusetts.
As a special treat for attendees a drawing will be held each day for the chance to win $100 in “Booth Bucks” that can be spent at the show with artists and craftsmen.
